Hardware (Instruments and Effects) • Re: What is the best drum hardware "sequencer"

I just want it as a step sequencer controller for drums so whatever sounds will just be a bonus.

In that case, I’d second the Maschine recommendation. Akai MPC or MPD would be another option, but my personal preference is for Maschine.
