Like to ask if anyone else feels that UVI Falcon is a uniquely CPU-heavy engine?
Peeps used to say Omnisphere was bad in this respect but Spectrasonics have really overhauled and refined their flagship plug until CPU consumption is now v low for the sonic quality produced. Same can be said of Serum, 8 years ago it was a hungry beast but the synth has been soooo improved CPU-wise. Rapid too is incredibly efficient while sounding magnificent.
Falcon (and Workstation) just spike CPU the same as they did 5 years ago, to the point of unusability imo. Yes the sound is great (no greater than Omni, Serum, Rapid, Vital, Pigments) but the processor hit is way too high.
Anyone agree that UVI should put some brainpower into sorting this out?
