Like others said, it sucks seeing things you already bought for (sometimes substantially) less, but just try to remember that the price you paid was acceptable in the moment that you purchased it. I'm not trying to defend what any particular company does (nearly all of them might seem shady or "unfair" depending on the exact situation), but it's just a little something that helps me out personally when I see huge price drops on things I've already purchased.
