Honestly just buy all the Cytomic plugs, that company is the best at analog modeling. UAD is not the best anymore, but they're still a reliable choice and a safe buy, you won't be disappointed, however there are better alternatives nowadays imo. That said UAD does have some standouts (ATR-102, API Vision...).

I like the drop filter, but how can you say cytomics are better? They only have three plug ins.

To me the UAD Moog filters are both outstanding. Just as good quality as the drop, but or course less flexible.

You mention 2 UAD stand outs, and yes they are good, but they have many plug ins at the same level of quality as those.

What I meant was compare to all the other companies, not just Cytomic. If you spend some time forming a plugin collection from various companies, you'd probably get something better than the UAD bundle imo (i did it), but that takes time. But if you don't want to do that then just get UAD, like i said it's still a good buy. And yes they have more than 2 standouts, I didn't want to mention all of them.
