My original post essentially suggested leaning on them to open source their software and you pop in and seemed to suggest I'm suggesting we all fork over 80 euros. So you want people to spend 80 Euros so you can then "lean" on a company that has a record of screwing over customersPart of my point, perhaps my main point, is to actively 'lean' on them to open the code if it/they are going to go away, as opposed to passively 'looking for a sign that they might open source it'.
Wow
Those are two very different things from my perch.
I don't know if the company has, as you suggest, 'screwed' their customers wilfully or not, and have my doubts they have. Why would they?
But if you like to twist/distort/fantasize/etc. people's intent/words, then I can see how you might talk about it that way, like you seem to be doing here with me.
In any case, even if the/a company consists of Satan-worshippers (LOL) who absolutely love to screw everybody over, even if only in your imagination, open sourcing their software code essentially means it becomes ours-- you know, for the common good? So in that context, your case about any dubious exploits would seem kind of moot.
