I have an older system too that’s still going strong. Do you have usb3 ports? I got 2 2tb Samsung T7 Shield portable usb SSD’s last year, put all the audio data on there and it was insane how much the loading speeds increased. If you do get portable ssd’s make sure they always have the same fixed drive letter and are on at all time (no power savings).No. It's admittedly an older system that was custom built for me. Rarely crashes and has about 9 tb of drive space built in.
Are your libraries stored on SSD’s? That makes a huge impact on loading times.
Would external SSD drives (USB) be any better?
