For me it's a very simple choice. OB-6 (or Trigon-6 which I vastly prefer over Prophet 6 I had) over Polybrute.
I prefer the instant interface, the keybed, the looks, the size and especially the SOUND.
I care not for massive modulation, especially if the underlying tone is sub-par, and it isn't great on the Polybrute (even pro reviews mentioned it only sounds good with FX on and is very thin sounding for a VCO analog).
OB-6 and Trigon 6 are about the best sounding modern poly analogs you can get from a mainstream maker (and I've had a Prophet 10 r4 and used an OB-X8 and still prefer OB-6 and Trigon-6 to them). Polybrute may as well be done in software. All that busy work isn't fun for me nor is it conducive to making quick (but great quality) sounds and actually making music.
Also the name "Polybrute" is as ghastly as its keybed and build quality. yuck.
